Angela Aiello, Founder of The iYellow Wine Club in conversation with style6ix about her Club and being a Successful Entrepreneur
I’m Angela Aiello and I am the founder of I Yellow Wine Club. Our philosophy is to take wine that once had a very elite role and bring it down to the fact that its grapes, its wine and its a good time. Tonight is a secret garden party where you get venture around an old church, find wine in all the nooks and crannies of the venue. We have regions at our events, New Zealand, South Africa, California, Germany where you can come and you can literally learn almost anything you could possibly want about a country in one particular location.
What a wine club is its a community of people who are strengthened with their bond with each other and wine is the narrative through that. Our wine cave is a pretty cool place its down on queen west by university, you have to walk down an alley through graffiti doors down stairs to an amazing wine cellar and you can come to any of our events throughout the course of the year, try little things and then you can dive into deeper learning whether thats through the wine cave, or in classes in booking me for a private event. A large part of business is social listening and listening to hear your members need. What your clients need and what the industry needs and crafting that in a kind of way where you kind of make everyone happy. As a teacher as an educator as a journalist all the things that I am crafting a new future part is also what members are going to do because if people aren’t speaking passionately about your brand, your brand is dead.
Relationships, wine and food are really what will help connect us again on a level that is human. No matter where you travel to no matter how long you are in wine you will always be learning something and I think that’s the glorious part about it.
